Welcome to the website of Sutherland Secondary School's Parent Advisory Council. All parents and guardians of students at Sutherland Secondary School are members of the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and are invited to participate in PAC meetings and activities.

The PAC supports educational and extra-curricular programs and activities at Sutherland through its parent volunteers, fundraising activities and donations by parents and community members.

Finances

The PAC receives donations from parents and community members each year, as well as Gaming funds from the Province of BC. The funds received are disbursed to provide student scholarships and support a variety of programs and activities. Each fall, a committee of PAC members reviews funding requests and makes recommendations to the PAC, who then vote on the allocation of PAC funding for the year. Funding expenditures are then monitored throughout the year. For more information, see the financial statements attached to each month's meeting minutes.
