Welcome to the website of Sutherland Secondary School's Parent Advisory Council. All parents and guardians of students at Sutherland Secondary School are members of the Parent Advisory Council (PAC) and are invited to participate in PAC meetings and activities.

The PAC supports educational and extra-curricular programs and activities at Sutherland through its parent volunteers, fundraising activities and donations by parents and community members.

Meetings

All Sutherland parents and school staff (teaching and non-teaching) are welcome to attend all PAC general meetings.  
 
Each meeting will cover a financial report, an up-date from the student council regarding events taking place at the school, information from North Van PAC, a report from one of Sutherland's teachers, an overview from our Principal, and time for parent questions.
 
The meeting dates for the PAC meetings for 2025-2026 are as follows: 
  • Monday September 15, 2025
  • Monday October 27, 2025
  • Monday December 8, 2025
  • Monday January 19, 2026
  • Monday March 2, 2026
  • Monday April 13, 2026
  • Monday May 25, 2026 AGM
Meetings are held on Mondays at 7:00pm and will continue virtually on MS Teams. Meeting link will be posted on the Sutherland school website and on the Sutherland Parents Facebook page.
